Zusammenfassung

Die Bindehaut stellt eine dünne, durchsichtige Schleimhaut dar. Sie bedeckt die Rückseite der Lider (Conjunctiva palpebrae) und die vorderen Teile der Sklera (Conjunctiva bulbi). Am Lidrand geht sie in die Lidhaut über (Haut-/Schleimhautgrenze), am Limbus setzt sie sich fort als Hornhautepithel.
