Zusammenfassung

Die Basisdiagnostik (s. auch Tabelle 7.1) bei gesicherter arterieller Hypertonie (Gelegenheitsblutdruckmessung, ambulante Blutdruckselbstmessung, ambulante Blutdrucklangzeitmessung; s. Kapitel 6) besteht aus

  • Anamnese (Familienanamnese, Eigenanamnese, Berufsanamnese),

  • körperlicher Untersuchung,

  • Erhebung laborchemischer Parameter und

  • weiterführenden Untersuchungen wie Sonografie, EKG, ev. Belastungs-EKG, Echokardiografie und spezieller Ultraschalluntersuchung der A. carotis.
