Abstract

Based on documentary and logical analyses, this paper discusses the role of sports activities in the health promotion of the public, and states that the diseases related to life style have an impact on people’s health and physical exercise plays a part in keeping fit. It elucidates that sports is an important approach to meeting the health needs of the nationals, and is an important channel of health promotion in China in the 21st century.
