Abstract

In Chapter 6, we first discuss a search strategy for life in the Universe, and then speculate about future life on Earth, in our Solar System, and in the Universe. Either answer to the question: “Are we alone?” is both frightening and profound. To “Reach for the Stars,” or not, is equally frightening and profound.
