Zusammenfassung

Für die Friedensforschung stellt der israelisch-arabische Konflikt eine noch unbewältigte Herausforderung dar. Zahlreichen Bemühungen der Friedensforschung und der praktischen Friedensarbeit zum Trotz konnte der Konflikt nicht eingehegt und einer Transformation näher gebracht werden (Klein/Thränhardt 2002, Meggle 2007, Avnery 2007, Galtung 2007, Kurtzer/Lasensky 2008a, Senfft 2010, Persson 2013).
