Countertrade im Osthandel

Zusammenfassung

Bei der Analyse der Countertrade-Problematik wird oft der gegengerichtete Ansatz von gesamt- und einzelwirtschaftlicher Betrachtungsweise deutlich. Wärend der gesamtwirtschaftliche Ansatz die Vor- und Nachteile von CT für die Weltwirtschaft bzw. einzelne Volkswirtschaften sowie dessen Beitrag zur Entwicklung eines funktionierenden internationalen Handelssytems gegeneinander abwägt, um schließlich die Frage nach der Sinnhaftigkeit von CT als alternative Handelsform zu beantworten, befaßt sich die einzelwirtschaftliche Analyse mit den Gesichtspunkten, unter denen CT fir ein einzelnes Unternehmen nutzenoptimal erscheinen mag. Am deutlichsten wird dieser Gegensatz an den Transaktionen, die fir das CT-betreibende Unternehmen ein Verlustgeschäft bedeuten, aber durch Überlegungen über die langfristige Erreichung von strategischen Unternehmenszielen zustande gekommen sind. Auf der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Ebene werden solche Geschäfte gerne als Beweis fir die Ineffizienz nicht-monetärer Handelspraktiken gewertet, wohingegen das einzelne Unternehmen erst im Zeitablauf durch die Marktpenetration, das geschaffene Vertrauen oder die neu gewonnenen Handelspartner in die Gewinnzone zurückfinden mag.
