Weitere bekannte Vertreter kognitiver Lerntheorien sind Wertheimer und Köhler (Gestaltpsychologie), Lewin (Feldtheorie), Piaget (Entwicklungspsychologie), Berlyne ( Theorie des kognitiven Konflikts ), Gagné (Hierarchische Lernstruktur) sowie Bandura (Lernen am Modell); vgl. zu einer Übersicht Greschner (1996), S. 55.

Vgl. Bartlett (1932); Woodworth (1938); Oldfield/Zangwill (1942) und Craik (1943). Beispielsweise schreibt Craik (1943), S. 61: „If the organism carries a,small-scale model’ of external reality and of its own possible actions within its head, it is able to try out various alternatives, conclude which is the best of them, react to future situations before they arise, utilize the knowledge of past events in dealing with the present and future, and in every way to react in a much fuller, safer, and more competent manner to the emergencies which face it“.
Vgl. zu einer kritischen Würdigung der Begriffsvielfalt Walsh (1995), S. 284. Johnson-Laird stellt bereits 1983 fest: „Although many writers have gone out of their way to draw distinctions between alternative concepts of mental modes, the theories may differ more than they ought to because they nearly all concern the same underlying reality“; Johnson-Laird (1983), S. 469.
Vgl. zu den folgenden Ausfiihrungen Schäffer (2001), S. 107ff.
Vgl. Weber/Grothe/Schäffer (2000), S. 241f. Vgl. auch March/Simon (1993), S. 190: “Because of the limits of human intellective capacities in comparison with complexities of the problems that individuals and organizations face, rational behavior calls for simplified models that capture the main features of a problem without capturing all its complexities”.
Schoemaker weist darauf hin, dass eine Unterschätzung der Wandlungsdynamik der Umwelt eine wesentliche Fehlerquelle der Entscheidungsfindung im Unternehmen darstellt; vgl. Schoemaker (1995), S. 25ff.
Vgl. zu den folgenden Ausführungen Piaget (1974), S. 337ff. 7’ Vgl. Zimbardo/Gerrig (2003), S. 463.
Vgl. Vandenbosch (1993), S. 28:,,... in organizations, many variables must be manipulated before a change can occur and many factors moderate the ability to behave differently.“
Gleicher Auffassung sind Bandura (1979), S. 37; Lovell (1980), S. 30 sowie Huber (1991), S. 89. Anderer Ansicht ist Norman (1982), S. 3.
