Abstract
In chapter 3 we presented the new evaluation approach STEER, which has been developed in the framework of our thesis. We explained the conceptional rationale of STEER and described its structure and content. In terms of our evaluation research, we have acknowledged that the value of an evaluation tool depends on its applicability and its usefulness in real life (Patton 1997). Therefore, we have applied and tested STEER in the framework of a corporate university. In the following chapter we introduce the reader to the field of research and guide him through the practical implementation of STEER.
“Evaluators must be pragmatic and conduct their research accordingly.”
