Minority Marketing: Issues and Prospects

Abstract

The status of the Quebec market is a minority one in North America but is in the majority within the Province. The anglophone and non French market is, however, a minority one within Quebec, but is in the majority outside the Province. This paper examines the current status of this minority market and discusses some of the marketing issues related to the impact of the Charter of the French Language on it.
