Abstract

On the basis that the practitioner needs at least some understanding of the artistic demands placed on the performer, the next three chapters briefly discuss potential strains placed on the body by instruments, dance and singing respectively. This informs on the stresses of the art form and often, therefore, the propensity for injury.
