Abstract

The Filtration and Integration System (FIS) is proposed for navigation data processing. The system is based on Kalman Filter approach. FIS is implemented for ship navigation and is successfully verified exploiting the data from sea trials of passenger ship. Proposed system provide a support for navigation, especially in congested sea areas, in narrow passages and harbors, where accurate navigation information is crucial.
