Abstract
The article discusses the transfer function coefficients’ influence on the characteristics of standard digital filters used in the construction of soft- and hardware components. Obtained are the ratios between numerator and denominator coefficients, the cut-off frequency and the peak frequency. Using results obtained, the structure of soft- and hardware devices on microprocessor basis is simplified, that, in turn, greatly simplifies the task of developing frequency-dependent components allowing both correction and adjustment of the characteristics and the system as a whole.
