Abstract

You thought the presidential campaign season cannot get any worse, but it has reached another low point. It simply turned into a reality show. Instead of talking about huge personalities who are desperately trying to capture our attention, we should take a moment to go back to fundamentals. If we look beyond the spectacles of the electoral politics, the following two questions are most important to consider before heading into the voting booth: What kind of leader would Americans hope for in this tumultuous time and what are our expectations from the next president?
