Abstract
Your manuscript is rejected. You are devastated, as this is, as far as you can ascertain, the largest English language randomized study done on this topic. The journal, to which you submitted your work, has published previous work on this topic. You feel that your manuscript adds new information to the literature. Although the study shows no difference between the groups, the results are economically important, as one group’s treatment is cheaper than the other and equally as effective.
What would you do? Give up, find another journal, or resubmit to the journal that rejected it?
