Abstract

After you develop an app, it is important that you deploy the app and test it on various machines before you upload it to the Store. This chapter covers some of the recipes on how to generate an app package from command prompts and sideload your app on the machine, and later use the Windows App Certification Kit to test that the app is good enough to be published to the Windows Store. Chapter 18 includes a recipe to generate the app package interactively from Visual Studio, hence, that is not covered in this chapter.
