Abstract

Polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloride copolymers have found widespread use in various fields of industry and the national economy, thanks to a number of valuable chemical and physicomechanical properties. However, both the homopolymer and the copolymers of vinyl chloride possess an extremely vital shortcoming — they break down comparatively easily under the action of physical (heat, radiation) and chemical (oxygen, ozone) agents and thereby lose their valuable qualities.
