Abstract
The practice of enterprise modeling is an evolving concept, and, like an enterprise, expands and changes to meet the needs of the enterprise. As a result, it is difficult to define it in a manner that will satisfy all of it’s practitioners. Over the past decade, the author has had the opportunity to help enterprises develop a variety of enterprise models. In every case, enterprise models have been a means to capture critical and complex enterprise knowledge.
