Abstract

During a case of penetrating keratoplasty, your surgeon has removed the patient’s cornea button and is about to suture on the donor cornea. The patient coughs and your surgeon notices sudden loss of the red reflex. An expanding dark suprachoroidal mass is noted with expulsion of the intraocular lens.
