Abstract
Infections are treated similarly in all races and ethnicities, but certain infections have a propensity to affect one race or ethnicity more than another. Examples of infections that are more common or more noticeable in individuals of color are tinea capitis and confluent and reticulated papillomatosis of Gougerot and Carteaud.
