Abstract

The use of bleomycin in the chemotherapy of tumors of lung and skin is limited by the development of interstitial pulmonary fibrosis(1). Older individuals, particularly those with pulmonary disease, are predisposed to this potentially fatal and irreversible toxic effect of the drug.
