Abstract
Data that emerge during your productive period of research will be the foundation stone that underpins the rest of your work. When you come to publish your work or be examined upon it, this will be the most closely interrogated part of any discussion that arises. It is therefore imperative that you learn how to produce good data, how to process and analyze that data, and then how to present it. The aim of this chapter is to give you a guideline on which to build. There are so many different forms of data that it would be impossible to give an in-depth discussion without monopolizing the whole book.
