Abstract
The last chapter gave you methods to find user needs. User needs are in some cases directly useful for user experience innovation. Usually though, you first of all want to find out what the user would like to achieve with your product. What are the tasks that the user is already achieving or desires to achieve with your product? Which tasks would the user like to use your product for in the future? These are key questions to answer. Identifying current and future potential core tasks for your product makes it much easier for you to identify which applications or features you will need to focus on in the product development.
