Abstract

Europe’s Economic Community is an important, wide-ranging and complex mechanism. We will be making use of a great deal of material covered in other chapters and in particular we shal refer to economies of scale (Chapter 7), international trade and protection (Chapters 30. and 31), the balance of payments and exchange rates (Chapters 32 and 33).
