Abstract

The aims of this chapter are to show why it is important to know what are the strong points and weak points in organisations. By the end of the chapter you should be able to identify the main areas in commercial and non-commercial organisations where weaknesses can lie and which can critically affect overall performance; you should also know how to go about finding them.
