Summary

This chapter examines some of the difficulties that confront students in their practice learning. There are very many reasons why learning on placement may be difficult. One of these, starting a placement and making the transition to learning on a placement, is discussed in some detail. Also, an approach is suggested to help students and practice teachers resolve difficulties with learning.
