3.1.5 Zusammenfassung zu Konfiguratoren und Spezifikationswerkzeugen
Im Vergleich zum Vertrieb von variantenreichen Serienprodukten spielt ein Spezifikationswerkzeug beim Verkauf von individualisierten Produkten eine noch zentralere Rolle. Es dient im Wesentlichen der systematischen Festlegung aller Ausprägungen des individualisierten Produkts durch den Kunden. Für den praktischen Einsatz von Konfiguratoren und Spezifikationswerkzeugen existiert eine Vielzahl von Ausgestaltungsformen, welche optimal an das jeweilige Produkt und die fokussierte Kundengruppe anzupassen sind. Allgemeine Standardlösungen sind derzeit am Markt noch nicht erhältlich, es lassen sich, wie hier gezeigt, jedoch eine Reihe von Anforderungen formulieren, die zur besseren Orientierung dienen können. Bei individualisierten Produktangeboten besitzen die Adaptivität des Spezifikationswerkzeugs an die Kundenbedürfnisse und die kundengerechte Darstellung der Produktstruktur eine hohe Bedeutung. Hierbei sind speziell die adäquate Visualisierung und die kundengerechte Adaption von Freiheitsgraden des Produktes wichtig. Weiterhin stehen ein auf individualisierte Produkte ausgerichtetes Constraint Checking sowie die Integration von Personalisierung zur Reduktion der Komplexität für den Kunden im Mittelpunkt.
