Abstract
The blood supply of the dorsal forearm has multiple sources, mainly deriving from the perforators arising from the posterior interosseous artery and the dorsal carpal branches of anterior interosseous artery. Most area of the dorsal forearm is supplied by the posterior interosseous perforators, while the distal area of the dorsal forearm is supplied by the dorsal carpal branch of anterior interosseous artery. A posterior interosseous perforator flap or an anterior interosseous dorsal perforator flap could be designed based on the dorsal antebrachial perforators.
