Abstract
Most drugs used in clinical practice have a low to very low incidence of renal toxicity. Nephrotoxicity tends to cluster around certain clinical circumstances or patient populations. Recognition of the risk factors for nephrotoxicity is, therefore, necessary for the understanding and prevention of renal damage (1).
