Mesenchymal Tumors of the Uterus

  • Chapter
Pathology of the Female Genital Tract

Abstract

This chapter deals with the diseases of the uterus that have mesenchymal differentiation and considers purely mesenchymal tumors, such as those derived from smooth muscle and endometrial stroma, as well as the benign and malignant mixtures of epithelium and connective tissue that arise within the endometrium and myometrium.
