Comparison of the cumulative incidence of ischemic stroke in the AS and control groups. The Kaplan-Meier curves with cumulative hazards of ischemic stroke were compared in the AS and control groups. The incidence of ischemic stroke in the AS group was significantly higher than that in the control group (p = 0.0041)
