Product Environmental Footprint (PEF). Fortschritt oder Rückschritt für die Ökobilanzforschung?

Abstract

The ongoing EU PEF pilot phase develops specific rules for selected product categories based on the PEF-method aiming at analyzing life-cycle environmental impacts of products. Key challenges of the method and the pilot phase are presented in this article.
