Correction to: Free Path Lengths in Quasicrystals

In order for Theorem 5.1 to be correct, the definition of the Siegel transform, (5.1), should read as follows:

$$\begin{aligned} \hat{f}(\Gamma h)=\mathop {\sum _{\varvec{m}\in \mathbb {Z}^n hg}}\limits _{\pi (\varvec{m})\ne \mathbf{0}}f(\varvec{m}). \end{aligned}$$

The proof of Theorem 5.1 has to be corrected by replacing each occurrence of “$\backslash \{\mathbf{0}\}$” (except the one in p. 747, line 4) by “$\backslash \pi ^{-1}(\{\mathbf{0}\})$”. Also in the proof of Corollary 5.2, each occurrence of “$\backslash \{\mathbf{0}\}$” should be replaced by “$\backslash \pi ^{-1}(\{\mathbf{0}\})$”, and on p. 747, line -3, “” should be replaced by “”.
