De jeugdsector staat momenteel meer dan ooit in de belangstelling van media, beleidsmakers en de politiek. Ook de Nederlandse Vereniging van Maatschappelijk Werkers/ NVMW heeft zich de afgelopen anderhalf jaar ingezet voor maatschappelijk werkers die werken in de jeugdzorg.
