Further investigations of valepotriates in the Valerianaceae

Abstract

Four species ofValeriana from Costa Rica and Peru were analysed for valepotriates:V. pulchella, V. priophylla, V. condamoana andV. micropterina. The highest amount of total valepotriates was found in the rhizomes ofV. prionophylla.
