Abstract
The schemes for Simple Reproduction and for Extended Reproduction refer to Marx’s pioneering formulation of a two-sector general equilibrium growth model. Quesnay’s Tableau économique is their forerunner; Leontief’s Input–Output model and the Fel’dman–Mahalanobis planning model could be claimed among their progeny.
