This is a geomorphological landscape with tourism value that is composed of granitoid rocks. Granitoid rocks are intrusive igneous rocks composed mainly of quartz, feldspar, mica and a small amount of dark minerals such as hornblende. The main rock types are quartz-rich granite, alkali feldspar granite, granite, monzonitic granite, granodiorite and quartz monzonite. These rocks are distributed throughout China and in all orogenic belts and have ages ranging from Archaean to Cenozoic. China has almost all of the world’s identified rock types. China has a great variety of geological formations and climatic belts, which has resulted in highly diverse granite landscapes with higher aesthetic qualities than those in other countries.
