This type of map helps tourists understand the geological attractions in the geopark and assists them in finding accommodations and transportation in a self-help manner. The map can be converted into a topographic relief map by using a large-scale topographical map or a remote sensing image as a base map. The map integrates the main geological relics, geomorphological landscapes, cultural heritage sites, scenic locations, museums, popular science museums, accommodations, medical care facilities, ambulances and transportation network to make visits easy. It is usually in form of a foldable map for easy storage and transportation.
