Geological heritage data are surveyed, collected, registered and classified according to the required format and content. The data include the geological relic numbers, names, types, geographical location, latitude and longitude, elevation, area, traffic conditions, geography, geological structure, landscape, protection conditions and development status. They also include photographs and brief descriptions. For typical geological sections, the features and parameters should be described according to the geological units and their boundaries and interfaces.
