Environmental aesthetics is a sub-discipline of environmental science that studies the aesthetic requirements of the human living environment and the physiological and psychological effects of environmental aesthetics on human beings. It explores the effects of the environment on people’s physical health and work efficiency. The study of environmental aesthetics involves many disciplines, such as acoustics, colourology, chemistry, physiology, psychology, ecology, landscape science, architecture, Feng Shui, and urban and rural planning.
