Ecotourism is an environmentally responsible type of tourism that occurs in relatively undisturbed natural areas and minimizes the negative effects of tourism. The goal of this kind of tourism is to enjoy and understand nature under strict rules of environmental protection. It benefits the local population and maintains and facilitates their welfare, work opportunities and chances to participate in society and economy.
