This site is located in the mountainous area at the junction of Saraburi, Nakhon Nayeri, Nakhon Ratchasima and Prachinburi in eastern and southern Thailand. The conservation area extends for 230 km from Ta Phraya National Park on the Cambodian border in the east to Khao Yai National Park in the west. The site is home to more than 800 animals, including 112 species of mammals (including two gibbons), 392 species of birds, and 200 species of reptiles and amphibians. It has important international significance for protecting threatened and endangered mammals, birds and reptiles, including 19 vulnerable animals, four endangered animals, and one seriously endangered animal.
