Climate is one of the determinants of exogenic action in landscape formation. It controls the shaping of the landscape, the formation of water bodies, and the growth and evolution of fauna and flora. Different latitudes have different climate zones, which lead to the formation of different types of scenery and natural tourism resources. Landscapes include tropical rainforests, cold and snowy areas, and arid deserts. Alpine areas accommodate a vertical zonation of plants and are ideal for mountain tourism.
