Chizhou Mount Jiuhuashan National Geopark, Auhui

This geopark is located in the Guichi District of Shitai and Qingyang Counties in Chizhou City, Anhui Province, and has a total area of 97 km2. It became a national geopark in August 2009. It is characterised by granitic landforms from the Yanshan stage. It also contains Quaternary glaciers, hydrological features, lavas and faults. Mount Jiuhuashan is one of the four major Buddhist shrines in China.
