Chapada dos Veadeiros and Emas National Parks are located in the centre of Brazil’s Ebara, 300 km north of Brasilia, Brazil. They are administratively affiliated with Goias and have a core protected area of 655 km2. The two heritage sites in the Cerrado region are characteristic animal and plant habitats and one of the world’s longest-growing and richest tropical ecosystems. The Cerrado Conservation Area has been regarded as a refuge for numerous species.
