Wanchuan River Landscape, Hainan

The Wanchuan River is a famous river in the eastern part of Hainan Island. This river has two sources: (1) the southern source, where the Lehui Stream starts on the southern ridge at Linbei Village on Wuzhi Mountain and flows for 109 km; and (2) the northern source, which is the Dingan Stream that starts to the south of Limu Ridge, converges at Hekouzui in Qionghai City (now called the Wanquan River) and enters the South China Sea at Boao Harbour via Jiaji with a total length of approximately 163 km. This river is a tropical river in a beautiful ecological environment that is unaffected by pollution, and it has been called China’s ‘Amazon River’.
