A vacation climate resource refers to a tourism resource in the form of comfortable and favourable climate conditions able to attract tourists for vacation or leisure. It is mainly in the form of summer resorts or winter retreats. Typical examples are Harbin in the summer, Hainan Island in the winter, Kunming, which has mild weather throughout the year, and the Chengde summer resort.
