Tourism Resource System of Marine Landscape

This is a resource system with tourism value associated with oceans (including islands and coasts). The oceans are the main bodies of water, while seas are located along the margins of oceans. Oceanic geomorphic units, such as beaches (intertidal zones), continental shelves, continental slopes, continental rises, oceanic trenches, deep-sea basins and mid-ocean ridges, are located continuously from the shore to the deep ocean. Based on their locations, oceans can be categorised into inland seas, marginal seas, intercontinental seas, closed seas, residual seas and open seas. Oceans in different climates have different coastal geomorphological landscapes, beach landscapes and physical-chemical conditions; hence, different types of ocean tourism resource systems with varying functions and landscapes have formed.
