The world’s tourist destinations for escaping the cold are located in tropical, subtropical, and maritime climate areas. China’s Sanya in Hainan, Guangxi’s North Sea in Guangxi, Bali in Indonesia, and Phuket in Thailand are examples. Tourists also make use of the different climates in the southern and northern hemispheres to travel; for example, Australia is a favourite destination for people to escape from the cold winters in the northern hemisphere.
