Tourism environmental protection planning is tourism planning that focuses on the interactions between tourism development, tourism activities, and the natural, socio-economic and cultural environments. It is based on environmental assessments. It proposes countermeasures or suggestions for problems such as the division of functional areas, tourist capacity, forms of tourism, construction, ecological protection, and environmental governance. Its purpose is to protect and manage the resources of tourism destinations, the natural ecological environment and cultural landscapes.
