Redwood National and State Park is located in northwestern California along the Pacific coast in the U.S.A. It is a region of coastal mountains north of San Francisco and has a core protection area of 568 km2. It is covered with a magnificent forest of coastal redwood trees, which are the tallest and most impressive trees in the world. The marine life and terrestrial life are equally remarkable, particularly the sea lions, bald eagles and the endangered California brown pelican.
